Or don’t make the same mistakes I made in my last 15 years 

Part 1 The Setup

This part of the workshop is all about setting up your business in a way that you spend less time in the chaos of administration and more time making money.   Learn the exact client-loved strategies I used to grow my business to a premium brand.  Chances are your business is a product of all the things you learned through experience, and the information that you gathered from your colleagues and online.  I’ve had the blessing to have shot over 500 weddings and taught over 100’s of students on how to run their business better.  I’ve also had the curiosity and vulnerability to make mistakes over the years and learn.  This section is “If I started my business from scratch today — what would I do boost my business fast”. 

1. Stay focused and confident: Get to know my client workflow and exactly what I say to my clients.  From the first email to the last conversation.  All my lessons learned, A/B tests, and experience broken down for you to apply in your business right away.  

1. Get your sh%* done fast but without compromise: Learn how I use current Ai tools and other leverages to save significant hours behind the screen and how I use that time to make my images even better.  

1. Updated 2023 gear and file management strategies for speed and security : If there was an option — I’ve probably wasted my time trying it.  From different types of drives to different OSes I have tinkered until I can’t tinker anymore.  I’ll tell you what’s the best there is, what’s best for your money and what’s costing you without you even knowing it.  

Part 2 

How to be in peak creative shape 

Or how I learned to find passion and inspiration every time I am working even if its the same thing for the 3rd time this week

1. Building a creative bank account: Imagine never running out of ideas.  I will show you how.

2. Finding your voice as a photographer and artist: A simple method to being know as “that girl or guy”.  How you can be known for a niche that no one else can copy. 

3. How to use feedback the right way: So you can have checks to ensure what you are doing is actually valuable. 

4. A framework to measure creative performance: Go from where you are to another level in less than 6 months. 

5. Make boring work fun again: How you can find ways to focus and grind through the mundane. 

Part 3

The business - Brand and Marketing 

In other words what is the story being told about you and who do they think you are

1. How to properly apply branding to your business: So that you can control the narrative and be in control of your destiny 

2. Marketing that works: And also a story on what didn’t work for me.  

3. Scaling up: Working our way back from the end — how to intentionally work towards a long game plan. 

Part 4

The Client Experience 

If you think good photos alone makes you a better business, guess again.  I think this matters more, and gets you hired 

1. Creating a stellar experience they can help but talk about: How to build out a process and approach that has your signature

2. My Automated client nurture campaign: 20+ touch points, all automated. So you can delight them while you sleep. 

3. The Upsell and referrals: How small changes can make you 10,000+ in revenue.  

SHOOT DAY 1 - Styled Couple Shoot & Real couple 

Siva & Soozana will guide you through shooting stunning portfolio images, with a beautiful location and a model couple completely styled.  Every attendee will get one on one time with the couple and full hands on guidance from Siva or Soozana. 

Siva will walk you through shooting a real couple in real environments - Though it’s nice to have great locations and great couples, sometimes you have to work with what you get -- so during this session Siva will show you creative ways to get epic shots in mundane locations.  

In class day 2 COLOUR + Live Shooting

1. Understanding colour from an artists perspective: To ensure that we are all starting from a good baseline understanding of colour and the specific definitions used within the field.  

2. Looking at Elusive vs Extensive colour: Colours you can see and the colours you can’t see— you will be able to understand and pick up on this and actually use them in your photos. 

3. Ambience with colour:  How you can evoke different emotions and story using colours in your photograph.  

4. Color Schemes:  Get a deeper understanding of combinations or colours and regardless of what is in front of you you will be able to come back with something that you can work with.  

5. Before and afters: so you can see my editing thought process behind each image.  

6. Live shoot and Edit: Soozana will explain how you can use colour effectively during a live shoot and edit session.
