Intern2025

 divinemethod Internship Program 2025

This is my baby. Of all the things I do with photography, nothing is closer to my heart like the interns I get to work with, mentor and learn from.  Interns become an integral part of the team, and make up the lifeblood of what is divinemethod.  Four out of seven people that are part of the team are past interns.  Two of my closest, most cherished friends are past interns.

My goal yearly is to take on 5 interns, give them all an opportunity to be part of 10 projects, and 10 in office days with me.  The internship is unpaid for the first 100 hours, but for the right person the ROI for your time and effort should be in your favour.  Out of the 10, 1 or 2 typically sticks around with the team for longer, while others go off and learn more with others, or have enough to bolster their current business, or go off on their own.

Either way, should expect:

  • To learn the inner workings of an ever evolving team.

  • To learn how to be a better photographer (gear, light, composition and story)

  • To be part of a fast moving, agile environment.

  • To learn how to tell stories with both photo and video.

  • To be pushed, become comfortable being uncomfortable.

I usually get about 100-150 applicants, and end up interviewing about 25 or so for the next round and hire 7 into the program. (But you said it’s only 5? I’ve learned that life will get around and catch two of you off guard and you probably won’t be able to make the commitment all the way through).
